This thing keeps rallying. Can somebody please put some brakes to this madness. Need 10% correction at the very least. 300 on this is over ambitious and perfect bull trap. Crazy!

Hi...Can the FED and the central banks pop up the market through rate cuts and quantitative easings "for ever".even though the economy will bevery  weak ?..Does wall street have to be corelated to main street???.Can there be a main street recession with wall street climbing endlessly?.Thank you very much.

James PattisonI think now any good news from unemployment, labor, and CPI would make a strong case and easy for Fed to not to cut rates. So now, Good news is Bad news

do you see the massive bubble forming? We are less than 3% to all time highs and the fed starts talking rate cut? With massive inflation about to wash up, and if oil makes any move up at all and with flooding about to impact the cost of crops all over the country.... i dont see how this rally is still running?? Where are we?

James Pattison  Totally agree. This is over optimism due to Fed Fund Futures. Futures can't dictate the 'actual' Fed Rate. This bubble should burst on Wednesday and gradually in G20 Meeting. But it's definitely going to burst.

Do bad retail sales bring the market down, or push it up on higher rate cut hopes? I think markets sink tomorrow on missed retail sales projections. (-0.78%)

Jeff Bailey Gold running up lets you know people see weakness and risk in both stocks and currencies. If people really expected the FED to lower the rate wouldnt the natural flight be to bonds... I get very worried when the SP5 moves in contradiction to the transports...

It makes me think a flash crash is very close... low volume double tops... i feel like we are standing at the edge of the cliff... well the FED starts talking about lowering rates... that is usually a sign of trouble... I think you are right... we might be stuck in a huge short squeeze.... maybe some outside actor is getting ready to pull the carpet out from under the entire market...

S&P 500 (SPY)Overall the cross-currents for the stock market are strong, and we are entering a significant period. We can see we have two trend lines that are due to cross path on May 23. A rising trend line and falling trend line.It would suggest to me the S&P 500 is likely to rise above its downtrend, helping to push the S&P 500 on to its next leg higher in the coming day or two towards 2,915.
