Like i said, Range bound $135 to $140 for all of September! The stock buy back, capital infusion might appear bullish, but this will defocus MSFT from previous growth! Just short on prices over resistance

Mike, you have been pretty spot on with this stock. In one of your previous comments you stated range bound $135 - $140 for September. What do you see beginning of October?

Also considering the heavy institutional ownership the stock will have good support if it ever dips too low as they will likely buy and increase their position. Look at the chart for the past month, whenever MSFT dips to low 130s it get bought back up to around 140, with the new dividend range should be above this mark now

MSFT under 140 is a good bet. P/E is 29 with 30% profit margin, considering that MSFT is considered a growth stock and they pay growing dividends the valuation is actually on the low side for the company. Just compare it to other comparable companies. Amazon is trading at a multiple of 80 and most other software stocks trade at 15-20x sales

Your approach does not make sense trading wise. Why not go short then? From 141 to 90? Would be a huge trade.

Comparing bitcoin and msft is ridiculous. Msft is a global powerhouse. Look at the financial statements. It helps. If you are able to read them. Big numbers in terms of growth, profitability and cash. This is real, and not a bitcoin phantasy, which is not even legal.

Among the big tech stocks, only aapl is relatively cheaper. P Look at the available cash they have one their balance sheet. And their cash flow. Thats what you paying for. These numbers attracting the majority of institutional money. As long as this does not change, its a Long.

40B buyback of a company valued at 1.05T is roughly 4%. MSFT correlates with Nasdaq and Dow futures, so it will correlate with the 1.2 beta of the said indices. If Dow is down 2%, MSFT will be 4%-2.4% = +1.6%. If Dow is up 2%, MSFT will be up 2.4%+4%=6.4%

Having consulted for a fortune 1000 company’s buyback program, such buyback happens through the discretion of a company’s own investment brokerage, like Goldman or JP-Morgan, steady accrual during market dips outside of lockout periods. I would think MSFT would be similar.
