oh boy, somebody REALLY has a vested interest in keeping this stock floating lmao, I wonder how many millions they're in the red. 5th day on strike, millions of trucks recalled, tariffs, sales downturn forecasts...and the stock still tries to climb. cannot wait for this to plummet

GM will hit $28 before it hits $38. I'm sure a lot of fed money probably got pumped in to keep it up and show the union doesn't have a "real" effect. in the 90s the union took this companies profits for billions in a month... now the union has internal issues.. GM has issues.. not providing health care, not operating, oh boy. Just keep buying more F stock and enjoy the dividend and next 2 years of growth :)

Let's recap, boys and girls. 3.5 million truck recall. First strike in 12 years. Selling only trucks as expensive as condos in a tightening market. Higher input costs from tariffs. So many forecasts for a downturn in auto sales that the company is literally actively preparing for a recession. And the stock climbs. I'll say it again. MARKET. MANIPULATION.

Awesome, stock climbing amid the first strike in 12 years and a sea of downturn forecasts. So glad to see the market being manipulated because the big fish are losing money on their bad positions. Keep pumping it up boys, you're giving us great bargains to load up on puts for when this inevitably collapses lmao

With the closing of the Lordstown plant, home of the chevy cruze, which is one of 5 plants closing, it seems hard to put faith in the future revenue.

For operations wise nothing as the subsidies would have to be cancelled for all companies and not just GM as it would be unfair advantage to their competitors and would get thrown out in court(just like all other excecutive orders by Trump.) Share wise the prices seem to be going down although most stocks go up when companies announce restructuring.

So, if GM caves and open plants in USA, the shareholders will sell out due to profits dropping.  If they don't cave, the share prices will go down due to the perception that americans may boycut the product.  It argues for a very short term short.  especially if it closes below the partial gap from 3-4 days ago.

General Motors Co posted far higher-than-expected quarterly profits and said its full-year earnings would come in at the high end of its forecast due to strong demand in North America. The best running products are the classic (but new) pick-up trucks. GM shares jumped as much as 8 percent in pre-market trading! That is a LOT for such huge company - not too often to hear positive news from Detroit
