Okay so now that AMD has gotten into "fair value" range we'll need to pay attention to news on the trade war front. That will be what determines the direction of AMD.

Alright.. so I have a question Im trying to understand. Microsoft and Sony compete with Xbox and Playstation. They annouced recently a Partnership. Microsoft also said theyre using AMD chips for their new Xbox. Sony has a Semi conductor division. Call me crazy but something here does not add up. Why not use Sony then? Orrr why doesnt Sony Sell their Semi conductor division and use AMD? Orr why doesnt Sony Buy AMD? Orr announce a Partnership or Licensing agreement wih one another? Like I said, call me crazyy. Something imo is up here. Could be wrong. Any and all thoughts welcomed and Greatly appreciated! Not saying the above will happen. Only throwing out potential scenarios

I think you are missinformed. Sony and Microsoft both use AMD CPUs for their current consoles. also they announced that they will use AMD zen2 CPUs for their next gen consoles. the CPUs they will use are zen2 architecture but they are custom made, not the ones that you and me can buy. so Sony and Microsoft will probably use slightly different CPUs according to their needs. the only thing in common is that those cpus will be zen2 and designed by AMD. now, about the partnership between Sony and MS this is business as usual. Samsung and apple also have business partnerships and they are main competitors in mobile phones market.

True. Im saying is a possible merger, buyout or licensing deal coming in the future? If you have a semi conductor division but out source chips for your own console to another company and can buy them out why wouldnt you? Then Microsoft would have to use their direct competitors chips for their Xbox or go else where. Its pretty smart imo

stop concentrating on single names, gains have nothing to do with fundamentals in this market, it's so FOMO and liquidity

Hopefully you wait till $22.50-$26 range. Of course play accordingly. I woudlnt be surprised to see a downgrade, not just amd, but semi conductors, (crypto plays a factor) and imo the global markets as a whole. Do your thing. I have puts as ive said. Might not be a bad move, and you can always exercise them for shares if in/ near the money enough.

AMD may have created the most powerful mainstream processor to date when it comes to multi-threaded workloads. Their Ryzen 9 3950Xfulfills the promise of HEDT performance on mainstream platforms but taking on their rival’s flagship 18 core chip at stock clocks, that’s a whole new level for mainstream performance.

Exactly Mark! As do I. If $26s fall imo Amd holders moral will go bye bye. Those 75 Million shares havent hit markets yet. If it falls much more im sure the holder will dump. Do the math. Thats a difference if like 500 Million dollars then add the Taxes. Its like Losing 1 Billion Dollars. Id sell. When markets go down as they should and will imo due to indicators amd will get hurt imo. I have puts to hedge my thousands of shares at $3.61. I only plan to trade my options not utilize them
