That doesn't mean management is expecting a price decline. Periodic selling of shares (of which you are awarded millions by the company you work for) is simply the right move financially, since 1) you're not timing the market, and 2) you're diversifying your portfolio (in cash or other assets).

Sugon is going to be pinched,” said Anand Srinivasan, an analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence. “The THATIC joint venture may have been to grease AMD’s entry into China. It was to appease the Chinese to give them a bit of intellectual property to expand their capabilities. For AMD, it is a high-margin business, but it is not material.” r.The US said on Friday that Sugon is “involved in activities determined to be contrary to the national security and foreign policy interests of the US.”

The 16-core, $750 Ryzen 3950X, when overclocked to 5.375GHz on all cores using liquid nitrogen, managed to break world records previously held by heavily overclocked Intel CPUs like the 7960X and 9960X, too.

Which begs the question, what will a Ryzen 3000 Threadripper chip line be capable of? Because despite earlier concerns, WCCFTech reports that third-generation Threadripper CPUs are coming and potentially before the end of the year too. Only the top-tier, 64-core chip was mentioned, but it was said to have a full 128 threads and will be supported by a new motherboard platform, currently called X599 — although that may change to avoid confusion with Intel’s motherboards.

Although Intel is putting up a brave fight on the CPU front, challenging AMD to “come meet us in real-world gaming,” there’s no denying that AMD has everyone’s attention with its upcoming line of Ryzen 3000 CPUs. They’re expected to steal the performance crown from Intel for the first time in more than a decade. But the red team isn’t done yet. Following shortly after its mainstream 12-core Ryzen 3900X in July, and the monstrous 16-core, Ryzen 3950X in September, we’ve now heard tell that Ryzen 3000 Threadripper chips are coming before the end of the year. And one of them has 64 cores.

The company recently published a new document calling out Intel for performance bottlenecking in its Xeon server processors, and is recommending that data center engineers switch to AMD’s options for better prices and performance.

The document is essentially an informational marketing pamphlet and is available to anyone willing to sign a form online. It begins by explaining how AMD’s Epyc System on Chip system is highly price competitive. The pamphlet asserts that Intel increased prices at a 19-percent compound annual growth rate in the server market between the years 2012 and 2017. This, AMD claims, led to Intel failing to deliver on balanced server resources, increased performance, and reduced cost of ownership. There’s also mention of Intel’s “maze” of 42 different Xeon scalable processors, making purchasing decisions as complex as buying a car.

Intel processor price cut could be both good and bad news for AMD. Good news: Intel is feeling pressure from AMD so they're discounting their products to be more competitive. Bad News: A large swath of AMD customers are not loyal and this discount could cause them to consider Intel over AMD.

A softer Fed will favor AMD over Intel because AMD carries a higher debt to income ratio. I hope AMD will use this softer Fed to pay down their debt or else it will cause a major crash if the fed decides to harden up or a recession hits.

Shorting, im sure a few of those 75 mill were let go. Fridays “ Caution”/ “downgrade” essentially. Nvidia dropping prices when AMD has to charge more. The pump is over for the time being imo. I could go on and on. I wouldnt be surprised to see AMD move into the $24-26 range. Hopefully that can hold. The pump was based off 2 years in the future. With all the uncertainty I dont see how they keep those numbers. It was all part of a cleverly crafted pump imo. Just got OTCd/ PennyStocked if ya ask me. Insiders selling is rarely a good sign. Especially this early into the year. Play Accordingly
