i do not understand ....why $ is soo weak ...i know that raising interest rate is positive ...but on chart the effect is negative ....i do not get it

The reason why dollar recently hasn't been going very strong with the raising interest rates (still depending on what chart you are looking at), is because the interest rate decision has already been priced in.. . That means people already expected the interest rates to raise and they acted accordingly even before the decision was made. So when Yellen made the decision, people had nothing to act upon anymore.

Think bigger Amr. The reason the dollar is dropping is insider works. trade deals Central Banks investments of our debt.  these are all things that go into play.  that is why it can be hard to trade it. government and central banks push dollar down to make our product more affordable for other countries to purchase driving the sales up. its all a game the "man" plays.
