mostafa sohdy Nothing. I'm looking for place to short. Personally I've seen only few catastrophic pictures, but nothing about severe damages to corn, so situation can cool down. Monday of course w can see spike in prices for overnight, and probably pull back. Wait for spike, and turn over and have a large margin so you will not get managed out on large spikes. Careful with long...

Advice from some1 who survived a lot here: corn is in final stage, the price can move up and down, buying and selling is very insecure, some traders wants to "take back" looses from long and short (typically on bottom), other still believes price to surge. The best is to completely pull back and forget.

At least 50% traders was managed out, and price will be set by big players. Before playing with acreage, notice 2019 +4mln acres, and this number is known for long time.

This waht will put price down is falling export, increasing imports, and good world production, what offsets a lot of production looses. :)

We have seen this few times in past days (weeks) low volume push up, than Big Bang, because new bunch of corn came to play. Just check CBOT to see how many corn is I the market and think if it’s worth to go long - and don’t go short, long is doomed, short insecure. Better to pullback.

Price depends on your broker. If it can be subject to manipulation I don’t know. Suppose when clients buy too much. Think what will happen when turnover happens, and price goes down and broker in addition ‘aligns’ it. I’ve seen similar things

91mil acres - 8mil prevent plant acres = 83 mil acres. Using conservative 92 percent harvested that's 76mil harvest acres. using current 166bu yield that gets us into few hundred million carryout. If all this comes true can one of you trade wizards tell me what corn is worth then? https://www.agweb.com/article/prevent-plant-exceed-8-million-corn-acres-3-million-soybeans-acres

Weather is the only major factor affecting prices currently. We received some unexpected rain on the weekend and today we're getting a nice slow shower. This is also being accompanied by a lot of heat this week. Perfect corn growing weather here currently. The weekend rain was just in time to avoid serious crop stress due to all the hot dry weather that persisted for 3 weeks. Now my corn is very happy. But there are a lot of acres in our state that aren't looking very nice.
