Producer cost unsustainable at this low price of 2.50. Very soon they will tighten supply, and it goes up to $3 by end of August.

Short it to the ground so that Producer stop producing so much. Too much NG out there. If this retest the 52 week low the bull will come charging in. Its kinda hard to short now. So i will Hedge my position just in case....

Fact that they waited until a BULLISH report to sell-off IMO shows that they're desperate to open long positions at a good price because weekly injections will keep getting smaller

Thats smart to wait til a bullish report come out, it shows that demand is up.... if Supply is greater than demand the price will go down and thats exactly what happen. Report and research are important.

Bulls had everything besides the technical analysis on their side this week, and we likely just hit a bottom. Wager accordingly.

Highest power burn so far this summer recorded today. The weather traders are looking at is the start of August. If that turns hotter price will move up next week. I believe we move up next week or even two if that forecast is good for bulls and then we go for the bottom. Injection report on Thursday will be very low perhaps as low as last year. Around 30bc if not less.

ronald blackledge Noone has a clue, we are all guesstimating at our best. I say nearly all markets are rigged whether I lose or not. How do you see the impact of the heatwave at open Sunday? If you think high powerburn over the weekend was already priced in then how come prices dropped during the week?

Lucky Luke many things matter, one day of extreme heat does not change the NG fundamentals. as long as Production is up month over month this heat waves for few days  will not matter

Any Gann traders here? Numerical cycle pivot on my deck = 22/7. «Small cycle» pivot high = 22/7, although being in inversion zone I dont think inversion will trigger.

Someone in the comment section of this article says the DoE is reportedly considering the creation of a Strategic Natural Gas Reserve. Any truth to that? A (very) quick search didn't find anything. https://seekingalpha.com/article/4275257?source=ansh

"DoE is evaluating the issue and it would be an agency related activity DoE/DoD, which means there are ways for the White House to implement without a House bill. I’m curious to know how big it would have to be. Removing 1-2T of current reserves (a guess) for a strategic reserve, even over two years, would have a major impact on the price (and benefit energy companies and the red states which is a White House side goal). Trying to figure out if the plan becomes real, what impact it would have on prices if a T cubic feet of reserves suddenly was removed from the market." The guy's bio says he's a mutual fund manager and CEO of some defence related thing.

Dom João II Would make sense. Why should there not be a NG reserve like on oil. 1 T would be 40 % of current reserves, perhaps a bit in the high end. In comparison strategic oil reserves currently make up 20 % of total oil inventory. Decision on 20 % NG reserve alone would make price go above 3.000 right away.

Interesting... if and when I get a bullish position, I hope this proposal gets confirmed and Trump signs an executive order or whatever is needed to get this going and make me some money.  Meanwhile, cooler temps moderated a little quicker than i thought they would, but then have kind of stalled.. if we get a return to warmer in the 8-14, whatever low we have in whether it is 2.23+ or a lower low if one is hit this week, just might be a good time to go long, thoughts?

Weekend heatwave in mid West and on the east coast and in some places extending into Monday will most likely mean spike up Sunday/Monday. Could trigger sc. Also, report on Thursday could be bullish because of Barry. Chances of Green candles ahead next week look good.

Texas is literally flaring gas into the sky because of a lack of storage. This constant short has been a thing of beauty. However, im sure mm’s will find a way to flood and trap
